| Machine screw | UN (UNC/UNF) and metric V-threads, internal and external |
Threads are printed at final form as true helical geometry — not tapped afterward — with printing-aware clearances so they engage mating metal or plastic parts.
Features
Hose barbs sized to your tubing ID, hollow flow paths, hex and square wrench flats, gasket seats for sealing washers, seal lands, grooves, chamfers, knurls, and cross-drilled holes. If you can build it in the configurator, we can print it.
Size Envelope
Parts up to roughly 9 × 8 × 10 inches. Most fittings are a small fraction of that; long or bulky parts are reviewed at quote time like everything else.
Tolerances
Standard dimensional tolerance is ±0.005″ on turned-profile diameters and lengths, which is what the configurator defaults to. Printed threads are checked for fit, not to a machining thread class — that's part of what the human review is for. If a dimension on your part is critical, tighten its tolerance in the configurator and it becomes part of the quote review.
Pressure and Temperature
PETG fittings are appropriate for water, coolant, and low-pressure fluid handling at room-to-warm temperatures. Not for pressurized air or continuous service above roughly 140°F — see Materials for the honest list of where printed PETG is the wrong answer.
